Joshua is a decorated scientific writer with publications in several journals including the Journal of Clinical Microbiology and Emerging Infectious Diseases. He is a 2006 graduate of the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) and is currently pursuing a residency in Anesthesiology at the Western Pennsylvania Hospital. Prior to medical school, Joshua received his undergraduate degree at Washington and Jefferson College where he graduated with honors in Cellular and Molecular Biology and English. He subsequently went on to complete an Emerging Infectious Diseases (EID) laboratory fellowship at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Atlanta, GA. Today, Joshua serves as an advocate for Osteopathic medical students across the country and spends much of his time outside of the hospital studying the COMLEX. He works with medical schools and Osteopathic organizations alike to promote Osteopathic practice and enhance board preparation and testing skills. Joshua believes that every Osteopathic medical student can achieve his/her goals in medicine with commitment and dedicated preparation. |

Todd currently serves as a Cardiology Fellow at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center. He was born and raised in Michigan and completed his undergraduate work at the Michigan State University. Todd is a 2006 graduate of the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM), where he received recognition for his academic excellence. Todd graduated in the top 5% of his class and has scored in the 95th percentile or greater on all three levels of COMLEX. Todd is currently pursuing an Internal Medicine residency at the University of California, Irvine and is involved in progressive research dealing with cardiovascular illnesses. He recently scored a 746 on COMLEX level 3; enough said! |

Brian is currently a fourth year osteopathic medical student and pre-doctoral teaching fellow in the Neuromusculoskeletal/Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine Department at Western University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in Pomona, CA. While not on clinical rotations, Brian teaches OMM to the first and second year students at COMP. He is also studying for a Master’s in Health Professions Education at Western U. He will graduate in 2011, and will likely pursue a residency in anesthesiology. Brian graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2003 with a bachelor’s in biochemistry and sociology. Brian has enjoyed success on COMLEX exams thus far, scoring a 629 on level 1 and a 728 on level 2 CE. |

Tory will be graduating from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in June of 2010 and pursuing a career in Pediatric Medicine back in the West. She is from San Diego and is proud to be a Southern California Girl. She attended the University of San Francisco for undergraduate education, earning her B.A. She was honored as the recipient of the Dean’s Medal of Excellence, which is given to one graduating senior in the School of Arts. From there she attended San Diego State University where she earned her M.A. in Pre-Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Cardiovascular Behavioral Medicine. Within the realm of Pediatrics her special areas of interest are Cardiology, Sports Medicine, and Advocacy. Currently, she is working with a Pediatric Cardiologist and world renowned expert in the area of Jacobsen syndrome, a rare 11q deletion disorder, which includes cardiac defects. Aside from her love of learning, she is an avid runner who enjoys traveling, spending time with her family as they mean the world to her, using her imagination, and she is an ESPN Sports Center Addict. |

Joshua graduated from TUCOM-CA and is now completing his preliminary medicine year at UC Irvine before starting his residency in neurology at UCSD. He has an extensive background in public health research with specific attention to antiretroviral medication adherence for HIV positive methadone maintenance patients. He also has a background in education and developed a multidisciplinary national public health curriculum for infectious disease outbreak preparedness. In addition, Joshua has experience teaching on the graduate level. He is an active member of the Cranial Academy. |

Anna was born in Ukraine, and came to United States at the age of 18 with her family. She graduated with honors in 2006 from University of Pittsburgh with the double major in Neuroscience and Psychology, and a minor in Chemistry. She attended Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine where she received multiple scholarships including Academic Excellence Scholarship, awarded to recognize outstanding academic achievements and LECOM Ambassadors Scholarship awarded based on superior academic achievement, leadership and commitment to LECOM. She is graduating this year from medical school and will be starting an Internal Medicine Residency at UPMC Shadyside hospital in Pittsburgh and will be pursuing a fellowship in hematology/oncology or radiation oncology upon the completion.

Julie was born and raised in Washington, PA. She attended The Pennsylvania State University where she graduated with high honors and received her BS in Pre-Medicine. She began medical school at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine (WVSOM) in the fall of 2004. While attending WVSOM she was the recipient of the Greenbrier Military Association Scholarship for leadership, citizenship and dedication; the McGraw Hill – Appleton Scholarship for academic excellence; and the Russel C. McCaughen Scholarship for dedication to Osteopathic Medicine. She was also chosen out of her class to serve as the graduate teaching assistant (GTA) for the clinical skills course at WVSOM. She spent one year in Lewisburg teaching first and second year medical students. |
