Joshua Courtney, DO

Joshua is a decorated scientific writer with publications in several journals including the Journal of Clinical Microbiology and Emerging Infectious Diseases. He is a 2006 graduate of the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) and is currently pursuing a residency in Anesthesiology at the Western Pennsylvania Hospital. Prior to medical school, Joshua received his undergraduate degree at Washington and Jefferson College where he graduated with honors in Cellular and Molecular Biology and English. He subsequently went on to complete an Emerging Infectious Diseases (EID) laboratory fellowship at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Atlanta, GA. Today, Joshua serves as an advocate for Osteopathic medical students across the country and spends much of his time outside of the hospital studying the COMLEX. He works with medical schools and Osteopathic organizations alike to promote Osteopathic practice and enhance board preparation and testing skills. Joshua believes that every Osteopathic medical student can achieve his/her goals in medicine with commitment and dedicated preparation. |

Todd was born and raised in Michigan and completed his undergraduate work at the Michigan State University. He is a 2006 graduate of the Lake Erie College of Osteopathi Medicine (LECOM), where he received recognition for his academic excellence. Todd graduated in the top 5% of his class and has scored in the 95th percentile or greater on all three levels of COMLEX. Todd is currently pursuing an Internal Medicine residency at the University of California, Irvine and is involved in progressive research dealing with cardiovascular illnesses. Following residency, Todd plans to pursue a fellowship in Interventional Cardiology. He recently scored a 746 on COMLEX level 3; enough said! |

Erik Paulson was born and raised in Lakewood, Colorado. He received his undergraduate degree in Integrative Physiology from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2005. He is a 2009 graduate of Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine in California. During medical school, he received the Denver Osteopathic Foundation Scholarship for academic excellence. Currently, he is completing a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Oklahoma State University Medical Center. He has given presentations to pre-medical clubs and medical students at various universities throughout the nation on topics such as getting into medical school, successful board exam preparation, and how to attain residency positions. During his free time, he enjoys golf, SCUBA diving, bowling, football, and almost anything involving competition. |

Rob is an Emergency Medicine resident at Michigan State University Kalamazoo Center for Medical Studies (MSU/KCMS). He is a 2006 graduate of the Lake Erie College of Ostoepathic Medicine (LECOM). Rob completed his undergraduate work at Malone College and received a Masters degree in Exercise Physiology at the University of South Carolina. He was a nationally ranked track and field star at the collegiate level. Rob’s professional interests include toxicology and wilderness medicine. Outside of the hospital, Rob enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife and new son, Evan. |

Following graduation from college, David pursued orthopedic research University of Pennsylvania and earned his Master of Business Administration degree in health care management from the Fox School of Business at Temple University.
